About Us
Dr. Keith Wood
Keith Wood, DDS, is an experienced general dentist with extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics. Dr. Wood moved to beautiful Folsom, California, in 1992, where he built Wood Family Dentistry by restoring a historic house in the tight-knit community.
As the son of a dentist, it’s no surprise that Dr. Wood showed an interest in helping others at a young age. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, immediately after earning his Bachelor of Applied Science in zoology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1981.
Dr. Wood understands that many people feel fear or anxiety when visiting the dentist. That’s why he takes the time to understand his patients’ needs and make sure they feel comfortable under his care.
At Wood Family Dentistry, Dr. Wood provides a variety of dental services for patients of all ages, including teeth whitening, veneers, emergency care, dental implants, oral surgery, and dental crowns.
Outside of work, Dr. Wood and his family love exploring Folsom Lake, riding their bikes on the surrounding trails, and dirt biking in the Sierras. He also holds a private pilot’s license and has a deep passion for flying.

Sue Sharp
Front Office Manager
I’ve been with Wood Family Dentistry since January of 2003. I started as a part-time employee, helping the front office and a year later was hired on full time. I enjoy biking and hiking in the surrounding Folsom area.
In my spare time, I take classes at Folsom Lake College and enjoy volunteering in different outdoor organizations.
Sue Reineke
Hygienist
I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist with Wood Family Dentistry since 1992. I enjoy spending time with my family of four grown kids, and I'm a grandmother to 6 amazing grandkids. In my spare time, I teach and train as a 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo while aspiring to become a Master. I also enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time at the beach while getting some R and R.
Mary Bautista
Hygienist
I have been working as a dental hygienist at Wood Family Dentistry since 2000. I grew up in Walla, Washington, and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, in 1995.
I enjoy mountain biking, water skiing, hiking, running, and reading. I love spending time outdoors with my husband and son.

Hygiene / Insurance Coordinator
I've been employed with Wood Family Dentistry as the Hygiene/Insurance Coordinator since 2021, although I've had 10 years of experience in the industry. Outside of the office, I like to spend quality time with my husband, daughter, and my husky puppy outdoors, exploring what our outdoor recreation has to offer.
